Two climbers face off 1 on 1. Flip a coin, the winner decides who goes first. Both climbers start from the tie-in point.

First Round: Climber 1 places up to 3 TOKENS. Time ends at the whistle or when the climber reaches the ground, whichever comes first.

Second Round: Climber 2 has the same amount of time Climber 1 used to retrieve the TOKENS. If Climber 2 does it faster, they win. Otherwise, Climber 1 wins.

The very best climbers will be invited to compete in the Tournament Saturday night, based on our judges’ assessment.

– If you drop anything, you lose.
– Only taped areas of the tree are eligible for placement.
– You must lanyard into place or retrieve a token.
– Tokens must be stored on your harness and cannot be dropped, thrown, or discarded.
– All climbing equipment will be provided. Climbers cannot use their own equipment.
– Climbers cannot change the tie-in point or modify the equipment.
– Climbers must leave the rope as they found it on any preinstalled systems.

Qualifiers are open to everyone at Friday night’s afterparty. Compete against a friend or stranger and your time is logged.
